Green Team
With our ever expanding population , the worlds resources are being put under more and more strain everyday. The effects of climate change will likely submerge islands, cause extinctions and alter weather patterns.
Green Teams are groups of faculty , staff and student volunteering to take specific actions to help our institution . Operate in a more efficient , innovative and healthy way. Typically, green teams focus on making their operations more sustainable through the easy to follow Green Paws Program and other initiatives unique to their departments.
In engineering this implement 5-R principles Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replace, Reject within the engineering operation to sustain the green environment.
